: In addition to the functions, duties and rights written elsewhere in this Act, other functions, duties and rights of the fund shall be as follows:-
(a) to safeguard member institutions and deposits of member institutions and to provide credit to depositors,
(b) Securing the loans provided by secured member organizations and member organizations to small and medium scale agriculture, industry, service business, etc.,
(c) Protecting member institutions and investments made by member institutions in the field of microfinance and livestock; (d) Securing export credits granted by secured member institutions, and
(e) To do other things necessary to achieve the objectives of the fund.
