(1) The owner of the share certificate may apply to the office in the prescribed format for mutual change, fragmentation, consolidation or renewal of the share certificates held by him.
(2) If an application is received as per sub-section (1), the office may take the prescribed fee and give the petitioner a new certificate or renew such certificate by changing, fragmenting or consolidating the previous certificate as prescribed.
