: (1) When the sender hands over dangerous goods designated for transportation, he shall inform the multimodal transport operator or his representative or any other person acting on his behalf about the nature of such goods and the precautions to be taken while transporting such goods. will fall.
(2) When handing over the goods as per sub-section (1), as far as possible, a clear description should be mentioned on the outside of each packing containing such goods.
(3) The consignor himself shall be responsible for the loss and damage caused to the multimodal transportation operator in connection with the transportation of the goods according to the multimodal transportation contract due to failure to complete the procedure according to subsection (1) or due to the error or negligence of the sender, his employee or his representative.
(4) In the case of not fulfilling the conditions under sub-section (1) or (2), the multimodal transport operator shall not be obliged to transport such goods and may unload, destroy or give such goods to any place at any time.
(5) If the multimodal transportation operator transports such goods after knowing the situation as per sub-section (1), the multimodal transportation operator will be personally responsible for the damage caused by it.
