(1) Any person having information about committing foreign exchange related offense contrary to this Act or rules, regulations, orders, notices, instructions, permits or licenses made under this Act or any person authorized by the Government of Nepal. Based on the information given to the authorities, if the foreign exchange is arrested and the crime is proven, one hundred and twenty percent of the money obtained by converting the seized foreign currency into Nepali currency will be awarded to the person who gave the information.
(2) The amount of reward to be given as per sub-section (1) shall be paid from the amount of the seized foreign currency converted into Nepali currency after the final decision of the case.
