Removed by the Republic Strengthening and Some Nepal Laws Amendment Act, 2066, without any person residing within his jurisdiction. If there is a reasonable suspicion that any weapon or equipment is being kept for the purpose of license or illegal purpose, or if the Chief District Officer believes that it would not be proper for the public peace to allow such person to keep such weapon or equipment, he may issue a leaflet with the reason and on the basis of that leaflet, search the house or other property of such person. He can order to search the place of suspicion and confiscate any weapon or equipment with or without a license.

When doing such kind of search, the chief district officer should have the employee of any other restaurant as a witness.
