29. Dismissal and protection

(1) Executive heads of public institutions who are currently working after being selected through competition will continue for the period specified for them.
(2) The selection process of the executive heads of public institutions who are in the process of being selected through competition will remain the same until the board starts the operation, after that the selection process should be carried out in coordination according to this order.
(3) The term of office of the executive heads appointed directly without competition shall expire automatically from the date on which the Government of Nepal appoints another director based on the recommendation of the recommendation committee as per Section 11.
(4) The Public Institutions, Board of Directors (Constitution and Operation) Order, 2068 is repealed.
(5) The actions taken in accordance with the Public Institutions, Board of Directors (Formation and Operations) Order, 2068 shall be deemed to be in accordance with this order.
