(1) The meeting of the Village Education Committee shall be held at least once in three months.
(2) The meeting of the village education committee will be called by the member-secretary under the direction of the chairman of the committee (3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if one-third of the members of the village education committee make a written request, the member-secretary shall call a meeting of the village education committee at any time.
(3a) Headmasters of schools within the Village Development Committee area may be invited to the meeting of the Village Education Committee.
(4) The list of topics to be discussed in the meeting of the village education committee should be given to the members by the member-secretary usually three days in advance.
(5) If more than fifty percent of the existing members of the village education committee are present, the quorum for the meeting of the village education committee will be considered to be reached.
(6) The meeting of the Village Education Committee shall be presided over by the Chairman and in his absence, the members present in the meeting of the Village Education Committee shall preside over the meeting.
(7) In the meeting of the village education committee, the opinion of the majority shall be valid and in case of equality of votes, the person presiding over the meeting may cast the deciding vote.
(8) Other procedures related to the meeting of the village education committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
