A teacher who has been employed for at least 20 years in a permanent position approved by the Government of Nepal will receive a monthly pension as follows:- Total years of employment x last month's salary = Amount to be 50
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the minimum amount of pension shall not be less than half of the starting scale of the salary of a tenured teacher of the same post and the maximum amount shall not exceed the starting scale of salary of a tenured teacher of the same post.
