(1) In case of manufacture, sale or distribution of products in any other way, they should be in accordance with the quality determined or recommended by Nepal Quality Office.
(2) The Central Food Laboratory will have the right to test whether any product sold in Nepal is suitable for human consumption.

(3) Products that do not meet the safety level for use in the country of manufacture cannot be sold in Nepal.
(4) Products that have reached their expiry date should not be marketed, sold or distributed.
(5) In order to avoid quality degradation, adulteration and contamination, products other than milk bottles and munto should be sold only in original containers.
