Rule 129
Home Leave
: (1) Armed Police personnel shall be entitled to home leave at the rate of one day for twelve days of their working period. Explanation: For the purposes of this sub-rule, the term "worked period" means the period of vacation, festival leave, sick leave, maternity leave, maternity care leave, maternity leave and public holiday taken within that period.
(2) The armed police personnel will be allowed to accumulate up to one hundred and eighty days of home leave earned by them.
(3) If an armed police officer is separated from the service for any reason, he will be entitled to receive a lump-sum payment for his accumulated home leave at the rate of salary that has been deducted from his position.
(4) If an armed police officer dies before receiving the accumulated home leave amount, the person as per sub-rule (5) of rule 74 shall be entitled to receive such accumulated home leave amount as a lump sum.
(5) The period during which home leave or study leave has been taken and is under suspension shall not be counted for the purpose of home leave to the armed police personnel.
(6) Armed police personnel who have paid their accumulated home leave should be given a maximum of thirty days of advance home leave in the event of any natural event causing a major damage to the life of any member of their family or their own property or if there is any other sufficient reason. will end.
(7) If the armed police personnel who have already paid their home leave and sick leave fall ill for a long period of time, they can be given advance home leave for a maximum of thirty days, which will be deducted from the home leave they are entitled to for the next year.
