Rule 41
Exemption
Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these Regulations, the Director-General may, in respect of any person who has obtained membership in a military air force or has government-recognized flying experience or technical knowledge in non-military aviation, or who has satisfactorily passed any special examination prescribed by the Director-General. Taking into consideration his technical knowledge and ability, he may give exemption to some of the qualifications required for personal license, rating and other certificates related to air service operation.
