(1) For the purpose of managing the adverse effects and risks of climate change, the Government of Nepal, the measures to be adopted to reduce the adverse effects and risks of climate change in the sectoral policies, strategies or action plans to be implemented by the Government of Nepal, provincial governments, local levels and other public bodies and the private sector. In this regard, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and issue necessary orders.
(2) The Government of Nepal may designate priority areas while issuing an order in accordance with sub-section (1).
