Rule 177
Operation and other provisions of District Education Fund
(1) The district education committee will send the subsidy amount received from the government of Nepal to the school fund on a quarterly basis.
(2) The District Education Committee shall spend the funds only for the work for which funds have been released from the Government of Nepal.
(3) Apart from the grant money received from the Government of Nepal, other money received from the District Education Fund will be spent according to the decision of the District Education Committee.
(4) The operation of the District Education Fund shall be through the joint signature of the District Education Officer and the Accounts Officer or Accountant of the District Education Office.
(5) The district education officer and the accounting staff will be responsible for keeping the accounts of the funds collected in the district education fund up-to-date and conducting audits.
