(1) The meeting of the district assembly shall be held at least once a year and the meeting of the district coordination committee shall be held at least once a month.
(2) The head of the district coordination committee shall convene the meeting of the district assembly and the district coordination committee. But until the head of the district assembly is elected, the senior member of the assembly will call the meeting of the assembly.
(3) District assembly and district coordination committee meetings will be chaired by the head of the district coordination committee. In his absence, the deputy head of the district coordination committee and if the deputy head is also absent, the senior member among the members present in the meeting will preside over the meeting.
(4) If more than fifty percent of the existing members are present in the District Assembly and District Coordination Committee, the quorum for holding the meeting of the District Assembly and District Coordination Committee shall be deemed to have been reached.
(5) The decision of the meeting of the District Assembly and the District Coordination Committee shall be made by consensus and if unanimity cannot be achieved, the decision made by the majority of the members present in the meeting or the committee shall be considered as the decision of the District Assembly and the District Coordination Committee.
(6) Other arrangements related to the meeting of the district assembly and district coordination committee shall be as determined by the assembly and the committee itself.
(7) Provisions relating to meetings in this section shall be applicable only unless otherwise provided by the provincial law regarding the meetings of District Assembly and District Coordinating Committee.
