(1) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this paragraph, the employees working in the typical posts of the Legislature-Parliament Service, if they meet the following qualifications, may be potential candidates for promotion to the gazetted third-class post of the General Administration Group of the Legislature-Parliament Service through internal competitive examination.
(a) R.P. Having reached the service period as per Section 28 of the Act in the post of typist of the first grade or similar,
(b) S.L.C. Passed,
(c) having received at least one month training related to the service.
(2) If a typist post becomes vacant due to promotion or any other reason, within one month from the date of vacancy, the post shall be converted into a computer operator post according to the decision of the committee and the information shall be given to the civil library.
