(1) The board will issue a ticket to the person who wants to travel by train after paying the fare amount for the journey. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Board may issue a permit to a person to travel by train without paying fare as prescribed.
(3) The passenger must pay the fare to travel by train and purchase a ticket or obtain an authorization for that purpose.
(4) If the Board installs an automatic ticket vending machine at the railway station for the convenience of the passenger, the passenger can buy a ticket from such machine by paying the fare to the destination station.
(5) The format of railway ticket, class or class of railway vehicle shall be as determined by the Board.
