Section 51
Mention of salary

(1) Wherever salary is mentioned in this paragraph and paragraph-6, it will refer to the immediate salary amount (including salary increase) of the concerned employee.
(2) For the purpose of section 47 and 48, "final salary" shall mean the salary of the concerned employee in the state of retirement and in case of such retirement, if any employee is on extraordinary leave or suspension, the full salary shall also be calculated for such period.
