Section 72
Punishment
If there is a reasonable and sufficient reason, the following departmental punishment can be imposed on the employee:-
(a) General Punishment:
(1) Giving advice,
(2) Withholding promotion for two years,
(3) Withholding not more than two pay increments,
(4) Withholding promotion for five years,
(5) Withholding not more than five pay increments,
(6) To reduce the starting salary scale of the post.
(7) Withholding of Upgrades.
(b) Special Punishment:
(1) Removal from service so as not to be disqualified for health services in the future.
(2) Dismissal from the service in such a way as to be deemed ineligible for the purpose of future health care.
