(1) If anyone violates this Act, the person who commits such violation and who aids or abets such violation shall be punished as follows according to the amount of the offense:
(a) contravention of section 5 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten years to fifteen years or with fine which may extend to fifty thousand rupees or with both,
(b) Violation of section 6 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 5 years to 10 years or with fine which may extend to twenty five thousand rupees or with both,
(c) Violation of section 7 shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 1 year to 5 years or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both,
(d) In case of violation of other clauses, a fine of up to five thousand rupees.

(2) Any person judged to be punished under clause (a), (b) or (c) of sub-section (1) is an employee of a government or public institution. If he is found guilty in relation to the documents in his office or in his office, he will be deemed to have been convicted of moral turpitude and he will be disqualified from his service position for the future.
