Rule 7
Creation of vacancies
: (1) No vacancies shall be created in the Armed Police Service without the approval of the Government of Nepal.
(2) When preparing the organizational structure for establishing a new office in the Armed Police Force, creating a new position or changing the existing organizational structure and position immediately after taking the approval of the Ministry, the program, workload, financial and other obligations, effectiveness of service delivery, available human resources, cost impact Organization and management should be surveyed on the basis of analysis and rationale.
(3) For the purpose of sub-rule (2), there shall be the following Organization and Management Survey Committee:-
(a) Joint Secretary, Ministry – Chairman (b) Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police appointed by Inspector General of Armed Police or Senior Superintendent of Armed Police – Member (c) Authorized Representative, Ministry of Finance – Member (d) Expert in the relevant subject designated by the Ministry – Member (e) Gazetted officer of the Armed Police Service designated by the Inspector General of Armed Police - Member-Secretary (4) Based on the recommendation of the committee as per sub-rule (3), the head office shall evaluate the organization and management survey and send it to the Ministry and the Ministry shall take the consent of the Ministry of Finance and send it to the Government of Nepal, Council of Ministers for approval. should be presented before However, if there is no increase in the number of posts or no additional financial obligations, the consent of the Ministry of Finance is not required.
(5) According to this rule, if approval is received to prepare the organizational structure, create new positions, modify the organizational structure and positions, the head office shall send it in writing to the Armed Police Library for registration within fifteen days.
(6) After receiving the details according to sub-rule (5), the Armed Police Bookstore shall update the details and give the same information to the head office and the ministry within seven days.
