Things to consider when redirecting
The following points should be considered while reorienting:-
(a) Children admitted to have committed delinquent acts,
(b) Consent of the concerned child, his father, mother and other family members or guardians if the father is not the mother,
(c) that the consent of the aggrieved party is obtained so as to be rehabilitated as much as possible,
(d) The nature of the criminal act and the circumstances in which it was committed, the seriousness of the incident, the age, maturity and intellectual level of the child, the family environment and the damage caused to the victim and his rehabilitation should be considered.
