(1) If the mother of a minor under five years of age is required to remain in prison, the Jail Administrator may allow such minor to stay in prison with his mother in the following cases:- (a) if the mother is divorced, (b) if such minor has no father or if he is also in prison ,
(c) if the court orders that such minor should remain in prison with his mother, or
(d) If the mother of such a minor requests to keep him with her.
(2) According to sub-section (1), if a minor lives with his mother in prison, the prison administrator shall arrange suitable rooms for the mother and the child.
