Rule 40
Operation and Control of Lower Secondary Education Pass Examination
(1) There will be a Lower Secondary Education Passed Examination Committee as follows for organizing and controlling the Lower Secondary Education Passed Examination:-
(a) District Education Officer – Chairman
(b) Three members nominated by the District Education Officer, including at least one woman representing the teachers of lower secondary and secondary level schools - members
(c) Examination Branch Officer of District Education Office – Member – Secretary
(2) The term of office of the nominated member in the committee constituted as per sub-rule (1) shall be three years.

(4) The examination committee may invite the experts of the related subject to participate in the meeting of the examination committee.
(5) The procedure for the meeting of the examination committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
