The following persons shall not be eligible for appointment to the post of Health Service:-
(a) Those who have not completed the age of eighteen years in the post of assistant level,
(b) Those who have not completed twenty one years of age in the post of officer level,
(c) Forty-five years of age has been completed, but there will be no age limit in the case of permanent employees of the health service and temporary employees who have been appointed to the post of health service and have completed five years of continuous service.
(d) This section shall not be deemed to be a hindrance to the appointment of those who are not registered in the health-related professional council established in accordance with the prevailing law and whose registration has not been renewed, but there is no provision for registration in any health-related professional council established in accordance with the prevailing law.
(e) Dismissed from service so as to be deemed ineligible for future government service,
(f) Non-Nepali citizens,
(g) Being found guilty by the court in a criminal charge showing moral turpitude.
