(1) Weekend leave given on mission shall be as prescribed by the head of mission after informing the ministry according to the custom of the country where the mission is located. And according to the country where the relevant delegation is located and according to international practice, public holidays will be given as per the approval of the Ministry, as determined by the head of the delegation. However, when such leave is granted, it shall not exceed the total number of public holidays specified by the Government of Nepal every year. Arrangements should be made to keep the office open.
