Rule 17
Work, Duties and Rights of the Inspector
The work, duties and rights of the Inspector shall be as follows in addition to other things:-
(a) To inspect and supervise the school at least once every month, and during such inspection and supervision, discuss with the principal and the management committee and report the matters discussed and the conduct related to the inspection and supervision in the inspection book of the school, (b) In accordance with the Act and this regulation, whether the school is operating regularly, whether the physical facilities and teachers are sufficient in such a school, whether the available facilities are being utilized to the maximum extent, and whether the teaching is conducted according to the prescribed level, after discussing with the principal, teacher-parent association and the teacher. If it does not seem to be in accordance, make corrections,
(c) To send the school inspection report to the village education committee or the municipal and district education officer every month (d) Contacting the management committee and local education enthusiasts for the development of the school and conducting necessary consultations and discussions,
(e) For the purpose of model teaching, call a meeting of the teachers along with the principal from time to time and do the necessary work to solve the problem,
(f) Evaluating the working capacity of teachers and keeping records thereof,
(g) To raise the educational level of the school, to hold a meeting of the headmaster and the presidents of the management committee,
(h) Conducting the examination according to the instructions of the examination committee (i) To inspect whether the educational and financial records of the school are correct (j) Compile and analyze the educational data in their area and send it to the District Education Office,
(k) Recommending teachers for training,
(l) To check whether the meeting of the management committee is held regularly and if it is not held, to instruct the principal to call the meeting,
(D) Giving necessary instructions to the principal and the management committee regarding the operation of the school (d) During village education every month by monitoring the work of the resource personsTo submit a report to the district education office (n) To verify the leave records of teachers and staff of the school at the end of the academic session and keep them in the school,
(p) To check or inspect whether the attendance record of the teachers is correct or not, in the case of teachers who are absent without taking leave, make a mistake in the attendance book and recommend to the concerned management committee and the district education officer for action.
(T1) To regularly inspect and monitor the non-formal education, special education and food programs for education conducted within their area and submit a report to the district education office. (h) To perform and arrange other activities as prescribed by the District Education Officer.
