(1) The Ministry may inspect or arrange for all and district senior citizens welfare committees established within Nepal at any time of care centers and day care centers within their area.
(2) The chief district officer or the officer designated by him shall inspect the care center or day service center within his area at least four times a year and send the report to the district senior citizen welfare committee and the ministry. During such inspection, if any action is found to be contrary to the Act, this regulation or the prevailing law, in addition to other things, it should also be disclosed in such inspection report.
(3) In accordance with this rule, if the inspection officer does not find that the care center or the day service center has arranged the infrastructure and facilities specified in this regulation, or if there is any irregularity, he may issue necessary instructions to arrange the infrastructure and facilities, improve them and remove the irregularity.
(4) It shall be the duty of the operator of the concerned care center or day service center to comply with the instructions given as per sub-rule (3).
