Rule 15
Duties, Duties and Powers of the Director
The duties, duties and powers of the Director shall be as follows in addition to other things:-
(a) To implement educational plans and programs,
(b) cause inspection of schools,
(c) To maintain coordination in the work of District Education Officers,
(d) Inspecting and evaluating the work of district education officers (e) To arrange training for teachers as needed to improve the quality of education,
(f) To check the records of the final examination of the school, the question papers and the answer sheets, to keep the records regarding whether the standard of education has increased in the school and to give the necessary instructions to the District Education Officer in this regard,
(G) To correct the name, surname, date of birth of students who have passed secondary education according to the prevailing law (h)……………….
(i) To make necessary inquiries regarding teacher vacancies requested by the district education committee and send their opinion to the department and the ministry. (j) To conduct a review of school audits,
(k) To arrange necessary training, inspection and monitoring for non-formal and special education,
(l) Coordinating, inspecting and monitoring teacher training programs (D) To supervise and coordinate governmental and non-governmental educational projects (d) Monitor every three months whether the work has been done according to the inspector's report and send the report to the department and ministry. (n) To send the progress report of the work of the directorate every two months to the department and the ministry (p) Acting as directed or delegated by the Secondary Education Passing Examination Committee,
(th) causing to be directed or delegated by the Commission,
(D) To cause other tasks to be performed as prescribed by the Ministry and Department.
