Section 197
Directory can be created
(1) In order to simplify, clarify and organize the work carried out in accordance with this Code, the following authorities may create and implement guidelines on the following matters as necessary:-
(a) The Government of Nepal after taking the opinion of the Attorney General regarding the investigation and prosecution of cases related to offenses under Schedule-1 or Schedule-2,
(b) Attorney General in relation to defense, legal opinion of cases related to offenses under Schedule-1 or Schedule-2,
(c) the Supreme Court in relation to a merger under paragraph 6,
(d) the Supreme Court in relation to the management of a Court or Bench,
(e) The Supreme Court in relation to the execution of judgments under paragraph 15,
(f) The Government of Nepal after consulting the Attorney General regarding the withdrawal of the case according to Section 116,
(g) The Government of Nepal after consulting with the Attorney General regarding the amnesty under Section 159,
(h) The Supreme Court in relation to other judicial proceedings.
(2) The guidelines as per sub-section (1) shall be deemed to have been issued under this Code.
