Preamble
: Since it is desirable to simplify and modernize the procedural law by revising and unifying the existing laws related to the investigation, prosecution, scope, action, hearing and trial of criminal cases and other related procedures and the execution of judgments in such cases, the clause of Article 296 of the Constitution of Nepal The Legislature-Parliament as per (1) has made this Act.
