Action to be taken on application
: (1) If there is an application under Section 4 to take or cause an action related to corruption in relation to a company, if the application is duly filed in accordance with this Act, the court shall set a date for the hearing within fifteen days after its registration.
(2) Except for the case that the company itself has applied for action related to marriage, if there is any reason why such action should not be taken after the application under sub-section (1) is registered, a notice shall be issued in the name of the relevant company and submitted to the registered office of the company within seven days.
(3) If the court deems it necessary, before the hearing of the petition under this section, it may order the officer mentioned in sub-section (1) of section 8 to submit the details to the court before the date fixed for the hearing, if there is any reason not to take any action as per the demand of the petitioner, and The information shall be published at least twice in any national level daily newspaper so that the shareholders, creditors or other persons dealing with the related company or such company is listed in the stock market can also get the information.
(4) If there is any reason why the company or person who receives the notice issued or published in accordance with sub-section (2) or (3) should not take any action related to the related company, it shall submit the details in writing along with the basis thereof within the period specified by the court.
