Section 4
Establishment and arrangement of the Nepalese army
(1) The Nepali Army will be established to protect the independence, sovereignty, geographical integrity, independence and national unity of Nepal.
(2) The Nepalese Army existing at the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to have been established in accordance with this Act.
(3) The arrangement of the Nepali Army shall be as mentioned in this Act and the rules made under this Act and in the case of other matters shall be as directed by the Government of Nepal.
