Rule 163
Notification of arrest should be given
: (1) When an armed police officer arrests a person in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 24 of the Act, the arrested person shall be given a written notice of arrest in the format as per schedule-19 and the local police or related crime shall be investigated as soon as possible. It should be handed over to the authorized agency or authority.
(2) When handing over according to sub-rule (1), the details including the name, surname, nationality or surname of the arrested person and the date, time and place of arrest must be disclosed.
(3) The local police or other authorities authorized to investigate related crimes shall, in accordance with sub-rule (2) and sub-rule (2) of rule 58, submit the written information to the relevant armed police personnel or the office where they are employed. Should be provided immediately.
