Rule 8
Vacancies not to be filled
: (1) Vacancies shall not be filled in any post of the Armed Police Service except as provided in the Act and these regulations.
(2) If a person is appointed to a position contrary to sub-rule (1), departmental action will be taken by collecting the salary, allowances and other benefits received by the appointed person from the appointed armed police officer as well as government dues.
(3) No post in the Armed Police Service shall be filled without registering the post in the Armed Police Library.
