Rule 34

<br> can determine the maximum number of pedestrians

The Government of Nepal may annually determine the maximum number of foreigners allowed to trek in any hiking area within Nepal.
(2) If the number is determined according to sub-rule (1), the department will not issue trekking permits in excess of that number.
(3) The Government of Nepal may make necessary arrangements for record management purposes of hikers going to areas where trekking permits are not required.
