Section 6
Term

(1) The chairman and members shall remain in their positions until the commission is dissolved according to section 39.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), if the chairman or any member lacks efficiency or engages in bad conduct, the Government of Nepal shall form a three-member investigation committee under the chairmanship of the former Chief Justice and upon the recommendation of the said committee, the Government of Nepal shall remove such chairman or member from office. can However, the chairman or member who is accused of such will not be deprived of the opportunity to submit a clarification.
(3) According to sub-section (2), charges against the chairman or members shall be as prescribed in other provisions related to the investigation.
