In this Act, unless the subject or pres (a) "University" means the Lumbini Buddhist University established under section 3.
(b) "Assembly" means the University Assembly as per section 7.
(c) "Academic Council" means the Academic Council as per Section 10.
(d) "Executive Council" means the Executive Council as per Section 12.
(e) "Convocation" means the convocation under section 14.
(f) "Council of Education" means the Council of Education as per Section 15.
(g) "Campus" shall mean the physical campus of the University and the term shall also refer to the campus affiliated to the University.
(h) "Dean" means the head of the association.
(i) "Teacher" means professors, associate professors, deputy professors and assistant professors who provide education or conduct research in the university and the term shall also refer to instructors at various levels of the university and other persons designated as teachers in the rules made under this Act.
(j) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this Act.
