Rule 2
Definition
: In this regulation, unless the subject or the context requires otherwise,–
(a) "Amar Sashras Police" means an armed police personnel who has been martyred due to a terrorist incident or explosion or an attack in an armed encounter or an operation against terrorists or an accidental accident or any kind of weapon injury while engaged in risky and challenging work.
(b) "Disabled Armed Police" means armed police personnel who are physically or mentally disabled to continue in the armed police service due to injury or injury due to an accident or trauma while performing the duties of their post or in the course of training.
(c) "Act" means the Armed Police Act, 2058.
(d) "Head Office" means the Head Office of the Armed Police Force.
(e) "Trainee Armed Police Personnel" means Armed Police Personnel undergoing basic training selected through open competition.
(f) "Promotion Committee" means the Promotion Committee under Rule 39.
(g) "Ministry" means Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs.
(h) "Armed Police Office" means Armed Police Office as per rule 5.
(i) "Welfare Service Center" means Armed Police Force Welfare Service Center as per rule 165.
(j) "Armed Police Family" means the husband, wife, son, unmarried daughter, adopted son, unmarried adopted daughter, father, mother or step-mother who lives with the Armed Police personnel and has to be supported by him and the term includes male and unmarried female Armed Police. In the case of an employee, it refers to his father-in-law, father-in-law, and in the case of a married female armed police officer, his mother-in-law, father-in-law.
(k) "Permanent Residence Permit" means a Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV), Permanent Resident Visa (PR) or Green Card provided to a Nepalese citizen to reside permanently in that country with or without any conditions. It should be remembered that the word se also refers to the permanent residence permit of any name given to Nepali citizens to live abroad permanently.
