Rule 27
Probationary period
: (1) Armed police personnel appointed through open competition in the armed police service shall be kept on probation for one year. But,
(a) In case of basic training of more than one year duration, the basic training period shall be deemed to be on probation.
(b) Armed police personnel who have completed the probationary period shall not be placed on probation again. (2) If the work of an armed police officer on probation is not satisfactory, his appointment may be revoked.
(3) Appointment of armed police personnel whose appointment has not been revoked within the probationary period shall be deemed to be automatically approved after the probationary period is over.
