The work, duties and powers of the Member-Secretary of the Secondary Education Pass Examination Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To appoint question paper makers, chief examiners, assistant chief examiners and other necessary staff,
(b) conducting the examination and checking the answer sheet in a fair and regular manner and giving necessary instructions to the concerned persons in this regard,
(c) To delegate the powers conferred upon him to any member of the examination committee as required,
(d) To work according to the instructions of the examination committee or the chairman of the examination committee.
