Rule 18
Exam marks and passing marks
(1) The total marks of the competitive examination to be taken by the commission will be as follows:-
(a) Written Examination :
(1)General Examination-100 Marks,
(2) Subjective Examination -100 Marks,
(b) Practical Examination -25 Marks
(c) Interview - 25 marks.
(2) The passing mark of the general examination as per clause (a) of sub-rule (1) shall be fifty marks, the passing mark of the subject examination shall be forty marks and the passing mark of the examination as per clause (b) shall be ten marks.
(3) Only candidates who pass the general examination as per sub-section (1) of clause (a) of sub-rule (1) will be able to participate in the subject examination as per sub-section (2) of the same section.
(4) If the Commission does not publish the result of the written examination as per clause (a) of sub-rule (1), it will be done on the basis of fifty percent of the marks obtained in the general examination and the combined marks obtained in the subject examination.
(5) The type of general examination as per sub-section (1) of clause (a) of sub-rule (1) shall be objective.
