(1) According to sub-section (4) of section 9, a person who is not satisfied with the decision made by the chief may file an appeal before the commission within thirty-five days from the date of receiving information about such decision.
(2) While processing and disposing of the appeals received in accordance with sub-section (1), the Commission may summon the relevant chief or information officer to make a statement, order him to submit any document, take witness evidence in this regard or demand a copy of any document from the public body.< br> (3) While processing and disposing of the appeal in accordance with sub-section (2), the Commission may do the following:-
(a) to order in the name of the concerned head to provide notice to the appellant free of charge, specifying the period of time, if the appeal is considered reasonable, (b) to dismiss the appeal if the appeal is found frivolous.
(4) The Commission shall take necessary action regarding the appeal and make a final decision within sixty days of receiving the appeal.
(5) Other procedures to be adopted by the Commission while processing appeals in accordance with this section shall be as prescribed.
