Section 53
Capital
: (1) The capital of the cooperative bank should be made up of ordinary shares only.
(2) The minimum capital of a cooperative bank shall be as prescribed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
(3) The cooperative bank can increase its capital after taking the prior approval of Nepal Rastra Bank and passing a resolution in the general meeting.
(4) The cooperative bank shall increase its capital as per the instructions given by Nepal Rastra Bank from time to time.
