The court shall give notice of the appearance of the case to the parties of the case who have not sat on the date according to this regulation. However, the party sitting on the date according to rule 9 shall not be required to give notice of appearance if the date passes, except in the case where the party has been granted permission not to sit on the date according to sub-rule (3) of that rule.
