: Notwithstanding anything else written in this Act, the names specified in the Pharmacopoeia in relation to the natural or synthetic narcotic drugs and psychoactive substances and their salts specified in accordance with sub-section (7) of clause (a) of section 3. And the production, sale, distribution, import, storage and consumption of pharmaceutical drugs such as tablets, capsules, injections, etc. shall be in accordance with the Medicines Act, 2035. However, the production, sale, distribution, export-import, storage and consumption of raw materials (raw chemicals) of such narcotic drugs and psychoactive substances shall be in accordance with this Act.
