(1) If an establishment has to be closed for any reason, the relevant excise officer and the department shall be informed in writing, three days prior to the closure of such establishment. But this arrangement will not be applicable in case of brick industry.
(2) If the notice as per sub-rule (1) is received, the department may, if deemed necessary, order the concerned person to keep the establishment running.
