Section 23
Arrangements related to Provincial Industrial and Investment Promotion Board

(1) A provincial industrial and investment promotion board may be established in accordance with the provincial law to promote investment in industries registered and operating in the province.
(2) The work, duties and powers of the Provincial Industrial Investment Promotion Board established as per sub-section (1) shall be as follows:-
(A) - Regularly reviewing the overall industrial promotion of the province and recommending to the provincial government for necessary improvements,
(b) To carry out the necessary actions for the implementation of the policy related to industrial pollution control,
(c) To make suggestions and recommendations to the provincial government to take necessary steps after overall assessment and review of the state of industrial development of the province,
(d) Hearing the complaints of the industrialists registered in the province and solving the problems and guiding the relevant agencies,
(e) Conducting study, research and survey as required in the context of increasing domestic investment in the industrial sector within the province,
(f) To do the necessary work to build a competitive industrial environment in the effective, coordinated and harmonious cooperation of the public, private and cooperative sectors within the province,
(g) To provide necessary guidance on matters that need to be coordinated between provincial and local levels for the development and expansion of industrial business and arrange necessary arrangements for coordination,
(h) In case of any ambiguity in the implementation of any federal law related to industry, instructing the concerned provincial ministry to send a written notice to the ministry for its resolution,
(i) Coordinating with the Board through the Ministry regarding the service facilities available from the single point service center,
(h) To do or cause other necessary work in connection with the promotion of industries registered in the province.
(3) The Provincial Industrial Investment Promotion Board may make suggestions and recommendations to the Ministry through the concerned Provincial Ministry on matters deemed necessary for industrial and investment promotion of the province.
