Rule 189
Formation of Certificate Scrutiny Committee
(1) If it is deemed necessary to investigate the educational and other certificates of the teacher, the Ministry may form a certificate investigation committee at the district level with the following members:-
(a) Chief District Officer – Chairman (b) District Attorney – Member
(c) District Education Officer – Member – Secretary (2) The certificate inspection committee shall send the information to the ministry for action according to the prevailing law, along with its opinion, if any defect is found during the examination of the certificate of educational qualification and other certificates.
(3) The certificate investigation committee may employ the employees of any office in the district with the approval of that office.
(4) The District Education Office will do the secretariat work of the Certificate Scrutiny Committee.
(5) The procedures related to the certificate investigation committee and the meeting shall be as determined by the committee itself.
(6) The members of the certificate investigation committee will receive allowances as specified by the Ministry for participating in the meeting.
