: Revision and consolidation of the law related to very important services such as waste management in order to maintain a clean and healthy environment by minimizing, reusing, processing or disposing of waste at the source, for systematic and effective management of waste and for maintaining a clean and healthy environment by reducing the adverse effects of waste on public health and the environment. As it is desirable to do, the Constituent Assembly has made this Act in the capacity of the Legislature-Parliament as per Article 83 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2063.
