Section 39
Punishment
(1) A person who commits an offense under clause (a) of section 38 shall be fined up to five thousand rupees by the local level for the first time, a fine of up to five thousand rupees to ten thousand rupees for the second offense and fifteen thousand rupees for each offense if the same offense is committed for the third or more times. He can also collect the expenses incurred in picking up garbage by charging a fine at the rate of Rs.
(2) The local level may impose a fine of five hundred rupees to five thousand rupees on those who commit offenses under clauses (b) and (j) of section 38.
(3) The local level may impose a fine of fifteen thousand to fifty thousand rupees on those who commit the offense under clause (c) of section 38 and recover the expenses incurred for managing the container or collection center.
(4) Those who commit offenses under clauses (d) and (e) of section 38 shall be fined from fifteen thousand rupees to fifty thousand rupees by the local level and prohibited from doing such acts until permission is obtained.
(5) The local level may impose a fine of five thousand rupees to fifteen thousand rupees on the person who commits an offense under clause (f) of section 38 and if any damage has been caused by such item or substance, the amount of such damage may also be recovered from the offender.
(6) The local level may impose a fine of five thousand rupees to fifteen thousand rupees on those who commit offenses under clauses (g), (h) and (d) of section 38.
(7) The local level may impose a fine of thirty thousand rupees to fifty thousand rupees on those who commit an offense under clause (j) of section 38.
(8) The local level may impose a fine of fifty thousand rupees to one lakh rupees on those who commit the offense under clauses (k), (l) and (t) of section 38, and if the same offense is repeated, the fine shall be double the fine imposed for the first time, and the permit shall be canceled in accordance with the prevailing law. can be sent in writing to the relevant agency.
(9) The chief district officer of the concerned district shall punish those who commit offenses under clauses (d) and (d) of section 38 with a fine ranging from ten thousand rupees to fifty thousand rupees or imprisonment from fifteen days to three months or both.can do it.
(10) The chief district officer of the concerned district may impose a fine of five thousand to ten thousand rupees or imprisonment up to three months or both to those who commit an offense under clause (n) of section 38.
